The Guado are an ancient arboreal race, proud and secretive with a natural
affinity for magic and a more robust physique than Elves and their kin. They
are unusually sensitive to the presence of occultic energies and some find it
very difficult to resist the temptation of power that such forces offer.
They generally resemble humans in build and stature, albeit with
disproportionately long limbs and digits, and often a pale green or blue palour
to their skin. These differences, however, are not universally pronounced and
some Guado are able to blend in unnoticed with human populations.
