Hate bland? Need a little color in your MUDlife?

This game is best experienced from a color terminal. If you have used the 'term'
command to specify a terminal protocol that supports color codes, then the
information will be color coded. Otherwise it will come across in the default
color(s) of your client.

You may send out text in color to others in your 'say' and 'tell', etc. without
fear of sending bad codes to people who cannot understand them using the
protocol developed by Pinkfish@Discworld.
Keywords must be enclosed in %^ and %^. eg. %^BLUE%^. The keywords are:

MAGENTA BLUE CYAN GREEN YELLOW RED BLACK WHITE
B_MAGENTA B_BLUE B_CYAN B_GREEN B_YELLOW B_RED B_BLACK B_WHITE
FLASH BOLD WINDOW INITTERM ENDTERM RESET

eg. 'This is %^RED%^red.' would look like 'This is red.'

The following should give an idea of how the colors look for you:
MAGENTA BLUE CYAN GREEN YELLOW RED BLACK WHITE
B_MAGENTA B_BLUE B_CYAN B_GREEN B_YELLOW B_RED B_BLACK B_WHITE
FLASH BOLD

Sometimes black is shown as another color to avoid blending in with the
background. If you use ANSI-NB then black will look like regular text.

Terminals are automatically reset at the end of a line. To reset before the end
of a line, use the code RESET.

You can add colors to channels, incoming tells, and some other things with the
set command. Those will add the on to the front and back automatically.
So you can simply type 'set OOC GREEN' for example. But for combinations,
you'll need to put in the separator characters in the middle, like
'set OOC BOLD%^GREEN'.

Players, to set your color on, use 'term ANSI'.
Espers, use 'call me;set_term;ansi'

You may want to check 'help term' also.
